Senior Software Engineer · TypeScript & Rust

This is the plain view — data over design. Everything, in detail, no decoration. The other face of this site is a hand-drawn drafting sheet with a generative system-design engine; the button in the corner takes you back.

About

I WRITE code. Sometimes it WORKS.

Mechanical engineer by degree, software engineer by obsession — self-taught, one broken build at a time, since 2021.

Auctions, digital signage, insurance — and now weddings at scale: at Matrimony.com I build the web products behind Mandap, WedAssist, WeddingBazaar and WeddingGiftBox.

After hours, a small ARM board at home runs Hydra (my signage engine), Symbiote’s backend, and my own tunnels. Cloud is expensive. Curiosity is not.

At some point you stop learning languages and start learning trade-offs. (Odin is next anyway.) Reliability over hype, simplicity over complexity, Helix over everything.

The goal is simple: build things that keep working when nobody is watching.

Experience

Matrimony.com — Senior Software Engineer (dec 2025 — now)

  • Building the WedServices web products — Mandap, WedAssist, WeddingBazaar, WeddingGiftBox — part of a family of 22+ in-house products.
  • Web platform on Next.js, Hono, PostgreSQL and Drizzle on AWS; CRM migration work on Strapi.
  • Mobile surface: PWAs via Capacitor and native apps in React Native.

Technologies: next.js, hono, postgresql, drizzle, aws, strapi, capacitor, react native

Impelox Tech — Senior Software Developer (aug 2024 — nov 2025)

  • Led development on Aura Insuretech — quote generation, a rule-driven underwriting validation engine (JSON rule sets, dynamic loadings and discounts), and custom RBAC for multi-level hierarchies.

Technologies: nestjs, mysql, angularjs

Shrav Infotech — Software Engineer (nov 2021 — aug 2024)

  • GreatCollections — core modules for one of the top-five global auction platforms: proxy bidding, consecutive coin listings, advanced search APIs, real-time sync over SSE and WebSockets.
  • Hyzign — multi-platform digital signage for Windows, Linux, Tizen, Android and webOS with delta-tracked content sync; headless TV apps for LG webOS and Samsung Tizen in EnactJS.

Technologies: php, mysql, rust, actix, react, electron, enactjs

Personal Projects

Deadhand (open source · v0.3.0)

  • Your AI wrote it. Deadhand checks if you can still own it — a Rust CLI that statically analyzes a JavaScript/TypeScript repo and measures how hard it would be for a person to understand and safely change it, without AI assistance.
  • Seven metrics per module — cognitive load, readability, entanglement, context depth, blast radius, pattern drift, orphaned code — rolled into one Maintainability score. Built on oxc, an import graph with Tarjan cycle detection, and a single git log pass for churn.
  • Deterministic, offline, zero LLM calls: every score traces back to paths and line numbers. deadhand map renders the whole repo as one self-contained, explorable HTML page; diff and --fail-under gate it in CI. Prebuilt binaries for Linux, macOS and Windows.

Technologies: rust, oxc, static analysis, cli, typescript, git, cargo-dist

Hydra (private · runs at home)

  • Cross-platform digital signage engine that runs on Linux, Windows, Android, iOS, TizenOS, WebOS and RaspbianOS (ARM) — one core, every screen.
  • Rust + Actix underneath, with custom high-power compression modules and algorithms that learn how each display is used.
  • Never commercialized, entirely for the joy of building it — self-hosted on the homeserver and demoed to friends over my own tunnels.

Technologies: rust, actix, compression, multi-arch, tizen, webos

Symbiote (personal · in the pocket)

  • My own Flutter mobile application — an AI-powered tracking app. Its backend lives on the homeserver, next to everything else I refuse to pay cloud bills for.

Technologies: flutter, dart, self-hosted

The Homeserver (radxa rock 5c · always on)

  • A small ARM board running Hydra, Symbiote’s backend, and a fleet of other services — behind my own Cloudflare tunnels, subnets, reverse proxy and container sandbox.
  • Bought because cloud is costly and curiosity is not. The blinking lights are load-bearing.

Technologies: rock 5c, cloudflare tunnel, docker, reverse proxy, subnets
